The wine comes from Monteforte d'Alpone, a wine-producing region in northern Italy. It is made from 40-year-old old vineyards located in volcanic soil at 150 meters above sea level. Monte Grande is made with 70% Garganega and 30% Trebbiano di Soave, harvested and pruned by Pergola Veronese with a yield of 50 hectoliters per hectare.
Fermentation takes place at 18°C in 30 hectoliter Allier oak barrels for 10 months. This wine has notes of exotic fruits and yellow citrus, freshness with a sweet finish, and excellent aging potential. Ideal to pair with seafood dishes, fish, quiches, seafood rice and roast meats.
