Description:

La Mateo Parcelas Singulares 2015 is a red wine produced by Bodegas D. Mateos in the Rioja region. This cuvée is made from a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Mazuelo grapes in proportions of 50%, 40% and 10% respectively.

Bright ruby red colour with a high hue, and an intense and complex aroma, with notes of black fruit compote, blueberries, plums, mineral and toasted notes, with a soft touch of tobacco.  Balanced in the mouth, silky and velvety, with a pleasant, ample and long finish.

Mateo Parcelas Singulares is an ideal wine to pair with game dishes, stews, red meats and roasted lamb or suckling pig.

This wine has undergone an ageing period of 18 months. New French oak barrels have been used to age the wine, giving it a note of freshness and elegance. In addition, it has not been filtered.
