    Let's take 3 barrels of wine and 3 plots of old vines and you will get our new 3 x 3 organic, old Cariñena and Grenache from the beautiful Terra Alta region in Catalonia. Overlooking the wide Ebro River, Terra Alta is just 50 kilometers from the coast, but benefits from the Mediterranean climate and refreshing breezes from the area's altitude.

    Pepe Fuster's 26 hectares of organically farmed vineyards have belonged to his family for generations. More than 10 years ago he began making wines with winemaker Bruce Jack and Ed Adams, Master of Wine, under his la bascula label. These 3 old friends and partners have embarked on the new project to create this wonderful, complex, ethereal and delicious red wine from the oldest vineyards of the classic Carignan and Garnacha of Pepe's lands. Almost a year of aging in fine French oak barrels (3 barrels by the way) has perfected and enhanced the complexity of this splendid wine. Enjoy III by III Eco wine!

    Description:

    The III by III Ecologic is a high quality red wine made in the Terra Alta region in Catalonia, Spain.

    It is made with organically grown Cariñena  and Garnacha grapes.The harvest is done manually and the grapes are carefully selected before being pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control.

    After fermentation, the wine is aged in fine French oak barrels for almost a year, during which time it refines and develops its complexity and distinctive character.

    The result is a complex and balanced red wine with an intense and deep flavour that presents notes of red fruits and spices.  Aromas of ripe and toasted fruits, with a subtle touch of vanilla and cocoa. Smooth and silky in the mouth, with a long and velvety finish.

    III by III Ecológic is a perfect option to go with red meats, game dishes and cured cheeses.
