    A wine of nuances

    A matís (nuance) is a small, almost imperceptible detail that makes something unique. The wooded surroundings of our vineyards fill this long and elegant wine with a nuance of balsamic and undergrowth aromas.

    The combination of a recovered historical variety -Mandó- with international varieties rooted in our estate for many years -Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot- provides many different sensations that transport us to the flavor of our region. The nose of Abadal Matís stands out for its aromatic richness, with aromas of ripe red fruit (cherry, raspberry) with a spicy background, and notes of carob, black pepper and balsamic that refresh and harmonize the whole. There are also sensations of liquorous red fruit (berries).

    A broad, long and elegant wine that fills the mouth with nuances.

    Description:

    Abadal Matís is the most refined wine from the Abadal winery , with a perfect combination of the aromas of Mandó, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties, and aging for 10 months in six different types of oak barrels.

    It delights our senses with a cherry color and aromas of plums, thyme, lavender and liquorice. Abadal Matís offers a balsamic sensation on the palate, fluid and pleasant balanced intensity, and a broad finish with hints of toasted oak.

    With an alcoholic content of 14% vol, this cuvée from the DO Pla de Bages is an excellent option for those looking for an elegant and powerful red wine. Vintage 2018.
